The day was chilly, but the atmosphere was very friendly with an exhilarating buzz in the air. It was our first regatta in a long time, so much has changed, but not the true joy and thrill of a regatta. The 200 M races were a great way to start the season, a burst of adrenaline and over before you can catch your breath. Coming away with the silver medal was a bonus, but the best part… getting to see the paddling community. Paddles up!
