The False Creek Masters were “ready, ready” for whatever the day would bring. Tides and winds, were not always on the side of the paddlers. However, the team persevered through three 500m races. With conditions changing quickly, the team’s race time improved by 29 seconds from the first race to the second. The FC Masters paddled their way into the Women’s A Final. Under sunny skies at last, the team paddled hard, and won the bronze medal.
Every festival, and every race, brings with it new goals and new areas for the team to focus on, and this weekend was no different.
