A beautiful day of paddling on False Creek, that unfortunately did not end the way the team had hoped. The FC Masters paddled three races to make it to the Knockout Final. Next, they made it to the third, and last, round in the Women’s Competitive Final. The final ended in an actual photo finish! In the end, FC Masters came in 4th, by a mere 0.033 seconds! Such a tight race simply fuels the fire to keep improving!
Although the team didn’t get a medal this time, they have grown and become stronger over the past months, and will continue to do so as they move forward. This weekend, they displayed resilience and grittiness under pressure.
Next up for the team, is the Vessi 500 Championship on Saturday, June 1st!
